Mahmutlar, a town which is a well established community and the largest of Alanya’s suburbs. It is a popular place for ex-pats to choose a second home not least because of its vibrant nightlife, live music scenes and friendly beach bars. Foreigners and locals live happily side by side in Mahmutlar and there is a great atmosphere and friendly feel to the place.

We Love Mahmutlar was the first Alanya community to feature on our website and the facebook group associated with this site still boasts over 4200 members.

In 2018/19 We worked on a video guide for Barbaros Cadessi to show the location of shops, restaurants and bars. Much has changed but it is interesting to see a snapshot of Mahmutlar pre pandemic.
