Most Ai tools for stock photographers are optimised around speed and volume. If that is what you require then SpeedData Pro will not be the right ai took for you. We are not offering a system which will process thousands of images at a time at lightening speed. If that is what you need then you are probably happy to trade quantity for quality – which for mass uploads is the right choice.
Most stock photographer’s requirements is accuracy and low-touch submission. Batches of 100’s of images are not usual in most stock photographers workflows. Many work in small batches of 25 and 50. This is how SpeedData Pro has the advantage over most other ai metadata tools, because all of our tools have been, and are being designed around real life stock agency workflows.
Generic, less specialised metadata generators on the market tend to reveal their weaknesses when processing the most difficult subjects such as editorial content, lifestyle images with people, business photos, location shoots, mutliple subjects and focus, patterns and artistic images. We feel pretty confident with the metadata SpeedData Pro generates even or these challenging images. We will post some of these results in the near future.

SpeedData is a specialist generator designed to produce multiple sets of metadata results aligned to each specific stock agency requested from the moment your start uploading your image batches.
BUT what we are offering is a tool that reduces the time it takes to get images ready for platform submission and our intelligent built in features do a lot of the hard, boring and frustrating work for you.
CATEGORIES ARE ACCURATELY AUTO SELECTED For those platform that have them, categories are selected from each platforms official list so that platform-specific metadata for multiple stock sites can be generated simultaneously
Our ENHANCED SCREENING SYSTEMS are particularly helpful to the less experienced and help minimise asset rejection, which can be soul destroying.
What exactly do we screen for?
- Size, relative to each platforms rules
- File type, not all stock agencies accept all image formats
- Quality, sharpness, over/underexposure and offer the opportunity to add ‘style tags’ for intentional artistic content
- Resolution compatibility with stock platform requirements
- Commercial content likely to require releases, people, private venues etc.*
- Editorial content — which can either be
- (i) pre-selected before you start (enabling ‘point and click’ location and date, selection from drop down menus)
- or
- (ii) if the user has mis-categorised content as commercial — images will be flagged after screening so that location and date can be added after the results have been generated. This is then incorporated into the metadata in the appropriate format for each platform’s requirements. This is our bespoke ‘editorial rescue’ service which we offer free despite the extra cost to us
- Our CSV files have the right structure for each platform and can be sorted and exported by in stock agency specific batches thus removing the headache of silent fails on upload
- Strong metadata connects stock content to buyers — even great images can remain invisible if keywords, titles, descriptions, and categories are poorly structured. Every word really matters, which is why our metadata is carefully optimised for stock platform search behaviour, keyword priority, and platform-specific description limits.

This full-length demonstration shows how SpeedData Pro processes a real 17-image batch from the Pouch to Platform project in real time across multiple stock photography platforms. It allows you to determine whether the metadata is of sufficient quality to determine SpeedData Pro as a worthy to be classed as one of ai tools for stock photographers.

With numerous tasks performed for every image, SpeedData Pro methodically analyses image content, generates detailed descriptions, selects categories where required, and creates ranked, stock-optimised keyword lists.
For every image, the system produces four separate metadata outputs, each tailored to the specific requirements, preferences and submission standards of the selected stock agency.
As processing completes, each metadata record is displayed and export-ready CSV files are automatically populated, ready for stock agency submission.
The images used in this demonstration come from the Pouch to Platform wildlife photography project, documenting the journey from image capture through to stock agency preparation and portfolio submission.
Future demonstrations will show the complete workflow for importing and using SpeedData Pro export files on each supported stock platform.

SpeedData was inspired in part by Gray Freeman — a blind photographer and experienced stock contributor whose workflow was challenged by traditional submission processes. His experience helped drive a shift toward more efficient, minimal-keyboard submissions. This approach has been further refined by a wider team of experienced stock contributors and developers, combining real-world insight with the technical expertise needed to build a system designed for scale.
