How I Uploaded a 17-Image Batch to Adobe Stock in 1 Minute 40 Seconds
One of the biggest misconceptions in stock photography is that contributors have to spend hours manually entering titles, descriptions and keywords into every stock agency. With 17 images to upload to Adobe Stock, i put the stop watch on!
While metadata remains one of the most important parts of the submission process, modern workflows can dramatically reduce the amount of repetitive work involved.
As part of a recent workflow test, I uploaded a 17-image wildlife photography batch from the Pouch to Platform project to Adobe Stock Contributor.
The complete process shown in the demonstration took approximately 1 minute and 40 seconds from start to finish.
That time included:
- Uploading the image batch
- Importing metadata using a CSV file
- Applying titles, descriptions and keywords to the images
- Preparing the batch for submission
The only additional step required before final submission was attaching the relevant property release.
For photographers managing larger portfolios, CSV-based workflows can save a significant amount of time compared with manually entering metadata image by image. They also help maintain consistency across batches and reduce the likelihood of typing errors or missing information.
This is particularly useful when working with larger image collections where accurate metadata can be just as important as the photographs themselves.
The demonstration below shows the complete process in real time with no cuts, speed-ups or editing tricks.
