SpeedData is a specialist generator designed to produce multiple sets of metadata results perfectly aligned to each specific stock agency requested throughout the process.
We know there are much faster metadata generation tools out there that handle massive batches of images. But we are not offering a system which will process thousands of images at a time at lightening speed. If that is what you need then you are probably happy to trade quantity for quality and this app is not the right tool for you.
We know most Stock Contributors actually don’t have thousands of photos to process each day, each month or even each year.
BUT WHAT WE ARE OFFERING is a tool that reduces the time it takes to get images ready for platform submission and our intelligent built in features do a lot of the hard, boring and frustrating work for you.
CATEGORIES ARE ACCURATELY AUTO SELECTED For those platform that have them, categories are selected from each platforms official list so that platform-specific metadata for multiple stock sites can be generated simultaneously
Our ENHANCED SCREENING SYSTEMS are particularly helpful to the less experienced and help minimise asset rejection, which can be soul destroying.
What exactly do we screen for?
- Size, relative to each platforms rules
- File type, not all stock agencies accept all image formats
- Quality, sharpness, over/underexposure and offer the opportunity to add ‘style tags’ for intentional artistic content
- Resolution compatibility with stock platform requirements
- Commercial content likely to require releases, people, private venues etc.*
- Editorial content — which can either be
- (i) pre-selected before you start (enabling ‘point and click’ location and date, selection from drop down menus)
- or
- (ii) if the user has mis-categorised content as commercial — images will be flagged after screening so that location and date can be added after the results have been generated. This is then incorporated into the metadata in the appropriate format for each platform’s requirements. This is our bespoke ‘editorial rescue’ service which we offer free despite the extra cost to us
- Our CSV files have the right structure for each platform and can be sorted and exported by in stock agency specific batches thus removing the headache of silent fails on upload
- Strong metadata connects stock content to buyers — even great images can remain invisible if keywords, titles, descriptions, and categories are poorly structured. Every word really matters, which is why our metadata is carefully optimised for stock platform search behaviour, keyword priority, and platform-specific description limits.
