SpeedData Pro is a specialist photo & video metadata generator designed to produce multiple sets of metadata results perfectly aligned to each specific stock agency requested throughout the process.
We know there are much faster metadata generation tools out there that handle massive batches of thousands of images and videos at a time.
But we also know most stock contributors simply don’t have thousands of stock photos and videos to process each day, each month or even each year.
We are not offering a system that processes thousands of stock assets at lightning speed.
If that is what you need, then we are not the right fit for you.
Unlike general-purpose AI writing tools, SpeedData Pro has been developed specifically for stock photography and videography workflows.
It doesn’t simply generate text. It intelligently analyses images and videos, drawing on its extensive knowledge of stock agency requirements to create agency-specific metadata and submission-ready CSV files.
It supports both commercial and editorial workflows, adapting titles, descriptions, keywords and categories specifically for Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Getty/iStock and Pond5 as its four primary agencies.
IPTC/XMP embedded metadata then extends your reach to additional stock photography agencies that accept embedded metadata, including Alamy, Depositphotos and Dreamstime.
Why Stock Photographers Choose SpeedData Pro
WHAT WE ARE OFFERING is a tool that reduces the time it takes to get images and videos ready for stock platform submission. Our intelligent built-in features do much of the hard, boring and frustrating work for you.
CATEGORIES ARE ACCURATELY AUTO-SELECTED. For those platforms that use them, categories are selected from each platform’s official list, allowing platform-specific metadata for multiple stock sites to be generated simultaneously.
Our ENHANCED SCREENING SYSTEMS are particularly helpful to less experienced stock contributors, helping to minimise asset rejections, which can be soul-destroying.
What exactly do we screen for?
- Size, relative to each platform’s requirements.
- File type, as not all stock agencies accept all image formats.
- Quality, sharpness, overexposure and underexposure, with the option to adjust screening settings for intentional artistic content.
- Resolution compatibility with stock platform requirements.
- Commercial content likely to require releases, including people, private property and identifiable venues.
- Editorial content, which can either be:
- (i) Pre-selected before processing begins, enabling point-and-click location and date selection using our location finder and date picker.
- (ii) Identified during screening when a user has mistakenly categorised content as commercial. These assets are flagged so that location and date information can be added after the initial results have been generated. This information is then incorporated into the metadata in the appropriate format for each platform’s requirements.
Our stock agency-specific CSV files have the correct structure for each platform and can be sorted and exported in agency-specific batches, removing the headache of incorrectly formatted submissions and silent upload failures.
Strong metadata connects stock content to buyers. Even outstanding photographs and videos can remain invisible if titles, descriptions, keywords and categories are poorly structured. Well-written stock photo metadata improves search visibility, increases discoverability and helps buyers find the right content. Every word matters, which is why SpeedData Pro generates AI-powered metadata optimised for stock agency search behaviour, keyword priority and platform-specific submission standards.
As our AI Photography Tools suite continues to grow, future applications will help photographers identify commercially valuable subjects, recognise images that are too similar before submission, improve image marketability and discover new stock photography opportunities in everyday locations.
OUR NEW INTELLIGENT FEATURES take SpeedData Pro beyond conventional stock photo metadata generation.
NATIVE AI VIDEO ANALYSIS understands movement, actions, behaviour and changing scenes throughout a video clip, rather than simply extracting still frames. This allows us to generate more meaningful, relevant stock video metadata.
GETTY SAFE KEYWORDS screen and adapt keywords against Getty/iStock’s specific vocabulary requirements, helping reduce incompatible keyword submissions and time-consuming manual corrections.
IPTC/XMP METADATA EMBEDDING creates full-resolution JPEG copies with titles, descriptions and keywords embedded directly into the files, while preserving existing EXIF data. This extends compatibility to additional stock agencies, including Alamy, Depositphotos and Dreamstime.
MIXED PHOTO AND VIDEO BATCHES allow up to 25 assets to be processed together, generating platform-specific metadata for Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Getty/iStock and Pond5.
Our CREATIVE CONTENT GUARD provides additional screening to help identify assets that may require editorial treatment rather than commercial submission.
