ROSS ON WYE | One of our fascinating photo locations. This picturesque market town boasts a fantastically independent high street, including an abundance of shops selling antique, vintage and retro items. Track down treasures, from curios and collectibles to jewellery and furniture. There’s plenty of gift and lifestyle shops, plus art galleries, a bookshop, cook shop and toy shop. Take your camera and do a little window shopping with your lens and find some unique images which capture the essence of this high street.

We will be covering several different photo locations at this destination. This page is dedicated to the treasure we found at the bottom of Broad Street. A shop with a its facade covered in vintage advertising signs. We were told by a local who had lived in Ross on Wye over 70 years that the collection has been built up over the years and all the signs are authentic and sought and bought by the shop owner. A fantastic colourful collection which is a joy to see.

There is a large car park near the river with an easy walk into the town. Alternatively try your luck on the high street itself where you can get time limited parking on the side of the road.
