The beauty of this photography location is that

it is easily accessible with a car park adjacent to the main road (just off A470 Cardiff to Brecon)
it offers a spectacular mix on deciduous and evergreen trees on the hill side backing the reservoir
if offers deep reflections in the waters of the reservoir

Timing of your visit is crucial. This year we travelled to the Beacons three times to shoot these seasonal changes. The first shoot was October 20th and the final shoot on November 19th.

Whilst there was some changes in October the rich colours we wanted to capture were not displayed until our last shoot.
