We spent a wonderful evening wandering around the stalls of the Cleopatra Beach Artists working in the Craft Market. Its one of the great things about Turkey, you never have to spend money to enjoy yourself. So many things to see and so many parks, gardens and features which are paid for my the council and cost nothing to enjoy!

We were only going for a walk by Cleopatra Beach and ended up learning about traditions and local crafts simply by browsing the local street market and watching the artisans making souvenirs, trinkets and products right there in front of us.

Tourist are browsing the street craft market on Cleopatra Beach by the new Teleferik Cable Car.
The local artisans, including sculptors, flower makers, jewellery designers and artists demonstrate their particular skills and show how they handcraft their items for sale.

You can walk in the gardens, watch the youngsters in the sports areas and enjoy watching the mesmerising colourful water fountains. We spent hours here this night and it was a very rewarding experience. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere so congenial.
Our next mission was to get on that Teleferik and take some overhead shots of it all ….. but thats coming soon on another feature page ….. watch this space!
