Tracy and her family have been visiting Mahmutlar for many years. They have their own apartment in Gold Sun and have watched the town grow from a small village to a bustling town.
This year, they fulfilled a dream of theirs. To take a dawn balloon ride over Cappadocia and watch the sun rise over this magical place.
There is little point in me writing about it because they have the most beautiful pictures and their expressions tell us everything. They all look so excited and so happy you don’t need be told how much they loved it – it is there in plain sight for all to see.
Tracy kindly shared the photos for everyone to see and hopes they will inspire people to take the trip.
She has certainly rekindled my desire to undertake the balloon ride, there wasn’t time when we went to Cappadocia in 2010. This just confirms by longing to return.
